With the wedding photography season ending, and the new season for the end of the year beginning we couldn't resist doing a shoot about something we love. As passionate lovers of extreme sports, skate parks, bmx and various sports, we decided to make an up beat video of a Behind the Scenes with these 2 ladies and a few skating and bmx clips. Take a quick look at our behind the scenes video of this fashion shoot, we've added some photos below too! Enjoy! #fashionphotographers
If you've ever wondered what goes on at a "model style shoot" this is kinda it. We decided to take down a brand new Specialized P3 Dirt Jumper bike to an abandoned street, a great location for a photo shoot styled like this. The styled shoot was to create more "daylight" styled images, not a harsh "funky" look. The Behind the Scenes video below is a great insight especially for photographers and those just interested in how a model shoot generally goes.

Nikita contacted us late Jan for a shoot for herself and her awesome friends. The idea was that whilst on their way to the Valentines Ball they were going to take a quick stop at Delta Park and do a quick shoot. As with most young ladies, they were dressed to perfection, full of smiles and game for anything. Without any boys or dates, these girls really had fun, there was no uptight moments, they laughed and just enjoyed it. Here is just a few photos from their shoot. #friend
Candice and Shaun contacted us 2 weeks before their wedding, unfortunately it seemed they were scammed by a 'photographer'. It broke our hearts to hear another story of a client being 'scammed/dropped' and losing money.
Fortunately we were available, and when we met Candice and Shaun, they were just an absolute awesome couple. They had major trust issues at this point but we calmed them down and made sure they got the relaxed, romantic and perfect day they deserved. This gor
Booking a wedding photogrpaher for your big day is a huge investment/risk. This is one day that you have probably spent more than you have budgeted. Making sure you hire a photographer that is not only equipped, but expereinced enough, and understands the true meaning of a wedding, and the photos that mean something. Lets get straight to the questions, often these are points over looked: Questions to ask yourself: - Can I see myself and my fiance spending the entire day wit
Karen and Hans...and their cute little pup, Dotsie! Karen contacted us in 2014 for their big day on the 12th of September 2015. We were extremely excited as their wedding will be quite far out in a 'bush' and 'safari' location. So earlier this year we scheduled their engagement shoot, Michelle did Karens make up for their engagement/pre-wedding shoot. Whenever our brides book Michelle for their make up, we always schedule the make up trial on the same day as the shoot, this
On the 21st of February 2015...we also tied the knot! Yes...we got married! It was at that point we knew exactly what all our clients felt like on your wedding day, the tears, the emotions, the laughter...and most of all the excitement. As with everyone wedding, we always tell our clients no matter what happens your day will always be perfect...and its true, no matter what goes wrong, right or whatever, your wedding will always be as it should be, perfect! Being a wedding pho
If there is one benefit of being wedding photographers in Johannesburg it has to be the fact that we get to meet the most amazing people, and meeting Anri and Roan was absolutely no exception. Anri was one of our brides that took advantage of having us being her wedding photographers and make up artist. We first met Anri and her sister at her make up trial for her bridal make up done by Make Up by Michelle. It could have been our love for our own pets and the love for her pet
Matric Farewell Photography season is in full swing, matriculants are excited, schools almost over and just before everyone gets ready for finals...there's one last thing on the To-Do list...the long awaited Matric Farewell. With every year we get an enormous amounts of inquiries for Matric Farewell for photography in Johannesburg. Unfortunately, we would love to photograph each couple at each school, but we limit ourselves to one couple per school/date. It makes that time
At the end of 2014 Peter contacted us to do an Engagement Shoot in Johannesburg. When we met Peter and Nomshado, we couldnt believe how much fun they have together, they full of smiles, jokes and more smiles. It wasnt long after that Peter contacted us again to photograph their wedding at Glenburn Lodge in Muldersdrift on the 1st of May 2015. We were so excited to work with them again, but most of all...completely honoured to share another special day with these two. Nomsha
It was towards the end of 2014 when we decided that our photography in the wedding industry was fun and enjoyable, Michelle had studied make up and bridal make up and photography became a sort after package. It allows us to often negotiate somewhat better rates when a combined packaged was taken from us. With our own wedding in February 2015 we realised that the wedding dress store which we found so inviting and elegant was something we couldnt resist and we had to open it a
To start off...this was thee windiest day we have ever ventured outside nevermind trying to photograph a destination wedding in East London. Melissa and Peter were set to tie the knot...outside, the wind was tossing the chairs and flowers were bending, her veil was blowing but through it all, Melissa and Peter pushed through as any couple would in life and made the most of it! For the shoot we found some "shelter", although the word shelter refers to quiet, tranquil and safe,
Jacelda made an inquiry with us regarding our pricing and packages. As it often happens we had not heard back from them and out of the blue we received a call on the way to the Photography Expo. Nick told me that they are definitely booking us for the 28th of February (which is the Saturday after we get married), as our honey moon only started the Monday we thought why not, nothing like your own wedding vibes rushing through your veins and photographing a wedding. So Nick a
