We decided we had to make our own smoke flares and use them for a fun shoot.
Whilst everything is in the video below, here is a little brief on the ingredients:
Fuse Mixture:
36g SaltPeter (Potassium Nitrate)
24g White Sugar
1/3 cup of Water
Smoke Flare Mixture:
60% SaltPeter (Potassium Nitrate)
40% Sugar
In this video we used 250g of SaltPeter and 100g of Sugar
The flares burn for around 30 to 45 seconds based on the mixture, its a great way to have a little fun and create something different.
